Beach gutters are really firing now for good bream, tailor and some exceptional jewfish. Plenty of salmon for those who are interested or can’t avoid them.
Rocks turning up some good fish with some very large land-based snapper; the most popular pots the front face of Mutton Bird Island and Macaulies Headland.
Estuaries also fishing well with good bream and flathead and only the whiting a little scarce. School jew turning up around structure in most estuaries with the Kalang road bridge fishing particularly well.
Offshore conditions a little unpleasant but good snapper and pearl perch coming from very shallow water. While the water temp remains constant there is a good run of yellowfin a little wider.
