Report 13/4/17

There's a few mackerel outside, both spotties and Spaniards. They're starting to come back on after that dirty water. Anglers are also picking up snapper on the inshore reefs.

On the beaches a few nice school jew are getting caught, along with some good bream. In the low tide gutters there are a few nice whiting around the mouth of the creeks, with beachworms being the best bait.

In the estuaries, a few blackfish are starting to get around, and there are bream being caught off the rock walls. Anglers are also picking up some good flathead upstream at the moment.

If you want to avoid the crowds, try making a trip up the top of the hill to chase trout at Dorrigo and Ebor. The streams have plenty of water and are fishing well.
