Offshore there are a few snapper getting taken on plastics, and a few macks on the in close reefs. If you want to head out wider for some bottom fishing, there are a few trag and pearlies on offer.

There are heaps of flathead and bream in the river at the moment, from the walls all the way up to the brackish water.

There aren't too many whiting on the beaches, but if you wanted to you could probably get a feed.

In the freshwater there should be a few bass around. I heard of a few last week with the bit of warmer weather we had, but now with the southerly they're a bit harder to get. Still doable though. They're more towards the saltwater in the brackish water. Remember that the closed season starts on May 1, so you can't keep any bass.
