We've had heaps of rain so the back end of the rivers will be pretty quiet for the next week or so. if you want to try for tailor, jew, bream, flathead etc they'll all be pushed to the mouths of the rivers, so any rock walls or river mouths on the incoming tide are your best bet.

If you're trying to get away from that dirty water the beaches are a good option for bream etc, and blackfish will be on the rock walls with the cold weather we're having.

The weather's not looking great but if you are lucky enough to get offshore the full moon is up and setting at around 12am, so arvo sessions will be slightly better than morning. There are few snapper around in 40-60m if you want to drop down paternosters. An alternative is to fish in 30-40m, but in the shallows with the way the moon is will be pretty hard to get a bite.

There are heaps of pearlies and trag for those anglers wanting to go out a bit wider, and kingies at the lighthouse on livebaits and jigs.
