Anglers going out deep have been doing alright on bar cod etc. The snapper been good for the inshore boys as well. There are still a few tuna around the traps which is interesting, but most anglers are catching good snapper and a few jewies and pearl perch in that 40m mark.

Off the rocks and beaches there's still good jewie fishing, mostly on baits. Lures haven't been doing as well, but we're still seeing a few getting caught on bigger soft plastics. Tailor have been pretty good too up in the wash, and there are some good bream on the beach as well.

In the rivers anglers are still catching bigger bream, school jewfish and some good size flattes. If you head a bit further up the waterways you'll get good spawning bass on that brackish edge, but try not to pester them too much.

The guys at the marina been getting some good blackfish on the usual cabbage, and bream have been really good around the rock walls too.
