It's been hard to get out lately, as we've had a patch of rough weather and a lot of rainfall. The tops of the rivers are all flooded, but at the mouths there have been a few flathead and bream, which are starting to move back into the rivers.

Offshore there's been a lot of snapper and trag. Anglers have also been catching the last of the pearl perch before it starts getting too warm for them and they head wide. There's a lot of kingies at the lighthouse and in the washes.

Anglers have been getting into jew and tailor on the beaches, as well as Australian salmon. On the headlands you can pick up blackfish, drummer and salmon.

The bass will fire after this rain. They'll be making their way up into the skinnier water for summer following the spawn.
