On the shelf there are still a fair few marlin getting about. The water temp is 24 degrees, and there's blues, stripes and blacks.

Of course, there are dollies around the FAD and the fish traps, and when you move in a bit closer towards the lighthouse there are kings and snapper.

If you want to bottom bash in the inshore reefs, there's a lot of snapper, trag and parrot (tuskfish).

On the beaches, anglers are getting into whiting, flathead, dart and bream. On the headlands there are reports of a few tailor and the odd jewfish.

In the river systems we've been getting bream, jack and flathead. There are also heaps of bass around in the aftermath of the rain we had, which was enough to stir things up a bit.
