Most fishers who headed to fish the reefs off Grassy and Scotts got amongst Trag and some nice Pearlies with a few only fair Snapper. A few Guys tried the wide Cod grounds in uncomfortable conditions for little results. Around Fish Rock the Kings were not interested in anything thrown at them. Bream fishing around Green Island has been good with fish reacting well to plastics.

Blackfish are finally starting to appear along the river Breakwall, good numbers of fish but the bite does not last for long so pick your tides. Bream are plentiful but you must fish light in close to the rocks. A few Smaller Jews are turning up in the river in the darker hours. Chasing a good Flathead is a mission with the under size Lizards jumping on the baits.

A slower week on the beaches with a few Tailor, Dart and Bream coming out of the gutters.

August special: All Berkley Gulps - 3pkts for $27, 2 pkts for $20 (or $11.95 each)

Take care on the Bars
