Good rain fell up river which will finally put colour in the Macleay bringing the fish on the bite. Fishos up river around Smithtown and Fredo have been reporting good Flathead and Bream for a few weeks. Closer to the mouth Blackfish are in fair numbers with some nice Bream along the north and south walls. School Jews are about and with the rain through the week the bigger unit should be about. There were some good Tailor caught at the end of the Break Wall

Most fishos stayed away from the beaches with bigger surf through the week but I did get some reports of big Dart and Bream in the white water.

Big swells late last week kept blue water fishos land based but the weekend produced some nice Fish off Grassy, Snapper and Trag were in good numbers. Tasty Tuskies and the odd Pearl Perch were about out of the same area.

ALL BERKLEY GULPS: 3 PKTS FOR $27, 2 PKTS FOR $20, $11.95 each.

Take care on the Bars
