Outside: Most reefs have provided excellent snapper, trag and pearl perch. Snapper to 7kg have been reported and around The Pinnacle. Mahi mahi are in good numbers on the FAD and cobia are likely to show up anywhere. Baitfish are in good supply at the bait grounds and Latitude Rock. Out wide there are striped marlin as well as a few blues.
Beaches: At last a few tailor and bream are starting to show. Seven Mile Beach has fished as well as any. Whiting are still to be had.
Rocks: Longtail tuna and cobia were all reported last weekend by the LBG brigade. The rocks are also providing some great bream and drummer. Blackfish have been moving along the coast.
Estuary: The crabs, both blue swimmer and muddy, have been very active. The water is nice and warm and pretty much everything is on offer. If you wish to target bream on lures, leave the rivers alone and work weed beds and island shorelines using shallow-running hardbodies or poppers.
