Offshore: Last Sunday was the last day that any boats ventured to sea. A few guys hit the reefs for the usual leatherjackets. Out wide a few tuna and a striped marlin were sighted in water pushing 20°. The rest of the week has been a waste of time.
Beaches: Very sloppy with the prevailing SE winds. The tides for the coming weekend are good but the only thing that I can guarantee you'll catch is a salmon. Once again, thanks for the recipes, but I'll stick to my long-held belief that they taste like c**p.
Rocks: The drummer are firing and are the pick of the fishing at the moment, subject to the size of the swell.
Estuary: The lake looks like a swamp as a result of all the rain but get up early and fish the run-in tide over the next few days, in particular the leases just up from the bridge. This area is loaded with bream and a few juvenile snapper. A few mulloway could be lurking off the breakwalls on the first of the run-out tide.
