Estuary
The weather is still toying with us with great days delivering good catches of fish. Bream anglers are landing plenty of fish all around the mid 30cm mark with most fish being caught on bait. Hawkesbury prawns fished with very little weight or Mullet Gut is working the best. A few Flathead have been caught on the flats on the run out tide using plastics. Blackfish in the leases are plentiful as they are along Tuncurry wall. Good reports of Jewfish on the breakwall with plenty of just legal or throwbacks being caught. Best catch of the week was a 25kg Jewfish caught on Wednesday afternoon using live Yakkas.

Rock
Plenty of Bream off Janies Corner rounding up the Mullet along the rocks. Fish over 40cm are common. Charlottes Head is producing some good Northern Blues on live bait under a balloon with one Yellow fin caught during last weekend. A few snapper were caught in close off Blackhead from the stones late afternoon this week.

Offshore
FAD has quietened off a bit however still a few Dolphin Fish around. Reports are that Kingfish are chasing lures during the day down south. Flathead in good numbers on the gravel with some good Trag being caught at the graveyard at night. Commercial guys tell me that flying fish are everywhere this week!

Beach
Tuncurry beach half way along is loaded with tailor. Plenty of locals reporting fish early morning taking ganged Pilchards. Bream in numbers at Northern end of Seven Mile which I presume will be some off the same fish caught off Janies Corner.
