A mixed bag, with a few good mulloway caught from both walls over the last week, and alot of decent fish lost as well. Panther Martin Soft plastics, live yakkas and dead baits such as Lunds whole Squid have all worked. The bream are still as active as I've ever seen for a long time and continue to hit baits and in the racks lures are also working well. A few reports of some nice 55cm Flathead caught during the week drifting along the flats on the run out tide.
Rock: Traditional rock fishing for drummer, groper, blackfish is now in full swing. The predicted sou west offshore winds over the next few days might allow access to some decent spots. Good size Greenback tailor have been caught on Garfish off Janies Corner along with good quality ‘fat’ bream.

The water has gradually started to cool and the fishing offshore has been average at best. Latitude Rock and The Graveyard are loaded with tailor for those that want to stay in close along with the odd Cobia still lurking around The Graveyard as well. As has been the case for the last few winters, leatherjackets are starting to show up in numbers with good fish amongst them.

More and more great tailor stories mixed with tales of good solid bream. Beaches north and south of town are all fishing well as is Diamond Beach at the back of the resort.

We are pleased to announce that our store has once again been nominated for the second year running as a national finalist in the AFTA Best Tackle Store national awards. If you like what we do, vote for us at ... ckle-store.
