Estuary: The lake has been a little slower this week with very clear water keeping fish in hiding. The flood tide has been working well early each morning just on sunrise particularly around the leases, with these areas loaded with quality bream. A few guys have preferred to hang near the bridge pillions in the mornings and after burleying up and fishing as light as possible, they are coming home with some nice bream up to the 750gr mark. The big trick here is to fish light and let your bait drift down with the tides. Pieces of Salted Pilchards have worked well. The Tuncurry breakwall is still producing plenty of Blackfish and I hear that the odd Flathead has also been landed over the last week near the Breakwall Kiosk.

Rock: A few guys last weekend got some Drummer near Boomerang Beach on crabs. Janies Corner still has plenty of Blackfish hanging around.

Offshore: No reports this week from Offshore.

Beach: Bream have been plentiful in the gutters on Sunset on Nine Mile up near the back of Tuncurry Tip. A few Dart and Salmon are schooling along One Mile. Jewfish around the 85cm mark were caught off Farquhar Beach last Friday night on worms by a few keen locals.
