Well xmas has already gone and new year is upon us.lets hope the fishing
in the bay stays as good as 2017.

the spottys have arrived not in amazing numbers but have started in
pockets around the bay,the schoolies are pretty thick around the beacons
and on the western side of moreton towards the sandhills and
sharkspit, the whiting keep on keeping on and the squire and snapper are
in good numbers at peel island green and mud.so no complaints at all.

took out some friends the other day (greenslope doctors guild and
friends) and two boys thomas and joshua who were fantastic on the boat
picked up the first spotty of the season and a few schoolies and caught
heaps of whiting i think they showed up there dads, and they wanted to
learn how to scale and how to fillet, wonderful young fisherman who were
eager to learn, and i would think fisherman of the future, great day on
the water nothing better then seeing the young ones enjoy the bay.

Luke Austin.
