There have been some good quality bream getting about. Try the Jetty, the Canals, from Buckley’s Hole, the Bridge, Tiger Rocks, Cooks Rocks, the oyster leases and from the mouth of Ningi Creek. There are a few flathead around but are a bit small at the moment. Try around Buckley’s Hole, Red Beach, opposite Cornets and from the sand flats between Cornets and the Bridge. There are some good quality winter whiting from the surf beaches and are in good numbers. The flathead are also with these whiting at the moment. The winter whiting are in good numbers around the Cockle Banks, the Red Buoy and from the Southern Bribie beaches. There are a few tailor coming from the surf beaches but a bit small yet. There have been reports of some good Mulloway coming from under the bridge at night. There are also some nice snapper coming from the Ripples. I have no information from offshore as very few have been out this week.
