i think we should be careful re going boating this weekend, as there is confusion in some of the weather prediction. I see where the bom site online say wind dropping and Seabreeze show light winds, but reading the paper this morning bom says strong winds and warnings. so maybe dont plan too early and just see what the weather is on the day, one thing it looks like its going to be cold.spero

Just want to say thanks for the info! Went out to the small boat passage yesterday and ended up with 13 legal whiting. It was so much fun! Cooking them up for dinner tonight, yum! Anyone have tips for cooking?

well done. there's no size limit for winter whiting, but its good to release the smaller ones. light tempura japanese batter is the best, hot light olive oil batter not too thick and home cut chips. you can't beat fresh fish and chips
well done
