Well reports have been a bit quiet over the past week thanks to the rain from ex cyclone Olga .The good news is the lake has risen 1.335 metres from 9am Monday till 8am Wednesday. The water temps have also dropped down to around the magic 28 degrees. If are heading up for a fish I would be trying around the main basin as the big barra still have the urge to head out to sea at this time of year . Like in the wild the run in the river should be trigger them to head down stream. Try trolling 3-5 metre diving lures like the Predatek vipers and Gaden Classic's, if you like casting now is a great time to use Horny Toads or try smaller hard bodies, Squidgies or the new Rip Tide Inshore Minnows.
Cheers Foxie
