Over the past week we've had perfect weather, catching just about every fish you could think of.

In Keppel Bay, anglers are getting stuck into all the mackerel species and reef fish. Most of the mackerel are being caught on either slow trolled baits or deep diving hardbodies, and the nannygai and reds are being caught on live yakkas.

This weekend it will be a little bit windy on Saturday and Sunday, but the good weather will return early next week.

There are still some good barra and threadfin in the river. The mud crabs are a little bit patchy, but bigger tides this weekend will benefit them. Port Alma is probably the best area to crab in at the moment.

There are a lot of whales out in the bay at the moment, so it's definitely the time to be paying attention while you're driving the boat.
