LESLIE DAM: Leslie is definitely worth a look as several anglers have reported on some nice Golden Perch on the move, particularly in the earlier part of the week. Anglers landed some reasonable numbers of smaller fish on bait in the latter part of the previous week and into the weekend. We received reports of a few larger Golden Perch on the move, with reports of some measuring in excess of 40cm in length. Shrimps and saltwater yabbies have been the most successful forms of bait. Darker coloured blades and soft vibes continue to work for the lure anglers, with good number of fish being landed in the deeper water.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River is in desperate need of a fresh as the weed in very heavy in places. Anglers reported on the odd Golden Perch being landed in the town area. Anglers fishing on the eastern side of town reported on a few Golden Perch being landed on spinnerbaits. Anglers to the west of Warwick, around the Pratten/Victoria Hill areas and downstream, reported on the odd fish being landed. A Clifton angler reported on a 72cm Murray Cod landed on Sunday night on a surface lure in the Ellangowan area.

COOLMUNDA DAM: Anglers reported a few nice fish being landed at Coolmunda over the past week. Most Golden Perch fell to bait in approximately 8 to 12 foot of water. There were two reports of Murray Cod being landed, with both fish close to the 70cm mark. These fish were landed on spinnerbaits.
