Weekly Report 5 Apr 12

Leslie Dam: Leslie is still fishing quite well on live Shrimp. Things have been a bit slower for the lure fisherman. The lure of choice at present is 3/8 Blades. There have been reports of some local anglers boating over 20 Goldens in an afternoon session on live shrimp.

Connelly Dam: Connelly has started to slow down a little. This is probably due to the inconsistent weather we have been experiencing.

Moogerah Dam: Moogerah is still producing some good numbers. Any of the points seem to be where the fish are hiding at present. The lures to use are Jackalls, Blades and Soft Plastics. Bass will start to school shortly as the weather cools down.

Rivers: We had one report of an angler landing a 1.05 metre Cod on a Hydro Bug Jerimiah in the Dumaresq River. The Condamine seems to be still producing some nice Goldens with the odd Cod being landed.

If you are in the local area, make sure you call in to Warwick Outdoors and Sports and say g’day to John and Wayne - for expert advice on all your fishing (from kids combo to tournament rigs), boating, hunting and camping requirements.
