Leslie Dam: Leslie has been a bit slow over the past week with only a few nice fish being landed on live bait. The best spots during the week were opposite the dam wall and up past the “Black Boys”. There were also reports of a few nice fish landed while trolling in the main basin with hard body lures.

Connelly Dam: Connelly Dam has slowed down also with not too much to report on. There were a few good Silver Perch and Golden Perch landed near the wall on live worms and shrimps. One local angler from Allora reported on landing a 63cm Cod Sunday afternoon on a purple Jaz Spinnerbait.

Moogerah Dam / Maroon Dam: Maroon has slowed down over recent weeks, mainly due to the rain and wind. Some of the weed pockets have moved and separated. The odd Bass was landed on soft plastics and TN50 Jackalls. Surface action at Maroon has slowed right off.

Cressbrook: Cressbrook opened on the weekend after a long closure. Local anglers managed to land some good Bass over the weekend. Blades and Mask Vibes were the standout.

Rivers: The Condamine River has improved with anglers reporting on some nice fish being landed in the town area. Two local anglers also had some success using shrimps and crays at Murray’s Bridge. There were also reports of a few undersized Cod caught and released.

If you are in the local area, make sure you call in to Warwick Outdoors and Sports and say g’day to John and Wayne - for expert advice on all your fishing (from kids combo to tournament rigs), boating, hunting and camping requirements.
