Leslie Dam: There have been a few fish landed at Leslie Dam on both bait and lures. Local anglers had success trolling hard body bibbed lures in the main basin. The Jaz 60mm Tenterfield Shrimp was the most productive. There were also a few nice Golden Perch landed on TN60 Jackalls in the narrow section up towards the top of the dam. The bait anglers had some success on live bait over the weekend with one local angler landing 5 legal sized Golden Perch on Saturday afternoon.

Connelly Dam: Connelly Dam didn’t see much change over the past week, with anglers having success on spinnerbaits off the eastern bank. There were a few Murray Cod landed, with one fish measuring 67cm. The bait anglers had the most success on worms in the deeper water at the dam wall.

Moogerah Dam / Maroon Dam: The Bass dams have been a little slow, with Maroon being the better option. There were several Bass landed on Fly, with Green Wooly Buggers working the best. There were also a few Bass landed at Moogerah, with anglers fishing the edges having the most success. Spinnerbaits and TN50 Jackalls showed good results.

Rivers: The Condamine River was the standout during the past week, with several anglers having success on bait as well as hard body lures. There were several good sized Golden Perch and several undersized Cod landed on bait to the east of Warwick. The river in the town area also fished well with several anglers having good success. One local angler landed 4 nice Golden Perch up to 46cm on small hard body lures just below the Wallace Street Bridge. Anglers trolling from small boats and kayaks had more success as they were able to cover more ground.
