Post by Brad » Mon Dec 09, 2013 2:18 pm

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam saw the bait anglers having success earlier in the weekend, mainly on shrimps and crays. The main basin on the western bank seems to be the most successful area at the moment. The lure anglers had some success casting spinnerbaits near the rock opposite the wall.

CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam had seen a few nice fish being landed over the past week. One local angler reported landing a few Golden Perch in 11 feet of water on Stumpjumpers.

STORM KING DAM / GLENLYON DAM: Storm King Dam continues to fish well with some nice fish being lander over the past week. Anglers reported of some nice Golden Perch being landed on crays. There was also a nice 68cm Murray Cod landed on a purple spinnerbait. Another angler reported of landing a lovely Murray Cod measuring 80cm in the Severn River on a worm. There has also been some nice fish landed at Glenlyon Dam recently. One local anglers reported landing two nice Murray Cod, both over 70cm, and a few Golden Perch on red hard bodied lures.

MAROON DAM: Anglers have reported on landing some nice Bass on surface at Maroon. OSP Bent Minnows were very successful in the early morning. Spinnerbaits and blades also accounted for a few fish just along the weed edges.

RIVERS/CREEKS: The Condamine River continues to fish quite well, considering there was a slight change in water colour due to the recent rain. There were some nice fish landed out of a kayak just upstream from the Mill Hole. Local anglers also reported landing some nice fish out at Sandy Creek. Bait seems to be the most successful. There were also a few nice fish landed in the creek at Emu Vale.
