Weekly Report 7 Mar 14

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam saw some nice Golden Perch caught on saltwater yabbies up past the "Black Boys" late last week. This didn't continue for the bait anglers, with things slowing down over the weekend. They still manage to land a few nice fish in the main basin on live shrimps and saltwater yabbies. The lure anglers managed to land some nice fish in the earlier part of the weekend. One local angler landed a lovely Golden Perch on a small hard body lure.

CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam remained fairly consistent, with lure anglers reporting of some nice fish. One local angler had success while slowly retrieving a Jackall
Aragon. We also had reports of some nice Golden and Silver Perch landed on shrimps and saltwater yabbies.

MOOGERAH/MAROON DAM: Anglers at Moogerah had success in the main basin and along the eastern bank. Small blades and Jackalls were the most successful lures. We also had reports of a few larger fish landed in the timber on Imakatsu Piranha's.

RIVERS/CREEKS: Our river and creek systems remained the most successful with anglers reporting of numerous fish being landed in various spots. One local angler managed to land some very healthy Murray Cod, as well as some lovely Golden Perch, to the east of Warwick (mainly on Jackalls).
