LESLIE DAM: Anglers at Leslie Dam are reporting on things remaining consistent, with some good numbers of Golden Perch being landed over the past week. Anglers fishing the main basin have been having success on shrimps and saltwater yabbies. Some anglers are reporting up to 35 Golden Perch being landed in an afternoon session. Lures are also working well, with several reports of fish being landed while casting blades, TN Jackalls, mask vibes and spinnerbaits. Anglers reported on some nice fish being landed on trolled lures along the Washpool and up near the Black Boys. There were also several smaller Murray Cod landed over the past week.

CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam anglers’ landed some solid Golden Perch on bait when fishing from the bank. Shrimps, crays and saltwater yabbies are all working well at the moment. Anglers fishing in the deeper water towards the wall end are landing some nice fish on hard body lures and spinnerbaits.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River didn’t see too many fish being landed in the town area over the past week. Anglers fishing to the east and west of Warwick experienced some success, with some Killarney anglers reporting on some solid Golden Perch being landed on lures. Spinnerbaits worked well, with black and red being the most successful colour. Anglers fishing around Pratten reported on some nice Golden Perch, some measuring up to 50cm in length. One lucky angler managed to land a lovely 25 pound Murray Cod on a crayfish.
