LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam is definitely worth a try at the moment, with plenty of Golden Perch being landed over the past week. The weather conditions have been absolutely perfect. Anglers fishing with bait are seeing good results, particularly in the main basin on live and frozen shrimps. Most anglers are landed fish in 4 to 5 metres of water. We received several reports of Golden Perch being landed by anglers trolling and casting lures. Blades continue to work well when the fish are hard on the bottom. Murray Cod have been more active than previous weeks, with reports of several smaller Murray Cod on the move. Most of these fish were landed while trolling.

CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers at Connolly Dam landed a few more fish than previous weeks. Anglers fishing from the bank landed some quality fish, with saltwater yabbies proving to be the most successful form of bait. We received reports of some nice Golden Perch being landed on spinnerbaits, Imakatsu Piranhas and TN60 Jackalls.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River saw a few more Golden Perch landed on lures, with some reasonable numbers being landed on the eastern side of town. Kayak anglers landed some quality Golden Perch mid week at Murray’s Bridge on spinnerbaits. Anglers fishing in the town area had success in the Mill Hole, Wallace Street Bridge and below Scots Weir. Murray Cod have also been quite active to the west of Warwick, with some solid fish being landed. One measured 80cm in length and fell to a spinnerbait.
