Cooby Dam
Some great signs from cooby this past week, the afternoon bite is definitely the pick of the bite times, fishing quite close to the weed edge has been a stand out, casting or jigging Zx 40’s has been working really well. Some smaller cod have also been on he move, trolled hardbodies close to the edge are by far the most productive way.

Cressbrook Dam
A great week for Cressbrook with big bass and good numbers getting caught daily. A variety of lures have been working well with the stand out being the new Hot Bite Gang Banger G2. Predominant points leading into the main basin are holding large numbers of big fish, the biggest reported last week was 56cm to the fork a giant fish for this lake. Casting spoons and tailspinners to these areas has been the pick of the techniques.

Somerset Dam
Very hot and cold this past week at somerset, With massive fish getting caught if you are willing to persevere on finding them. North Pelican are holding some great fish, are reacting well to spoons and plastics. Queen street is also holding good numbers but very hard on the bottom. ice jigs have been the lure of choice in this location.

Boondooma Dam
The fish have really turned it on this last week, Big schools of fish are showing up in the lower reaches of the dam, Pelican point and the junction have produced some great fish vertical jigging ice jigs and blades tight to the bottom has been working a treat. For the bait anglers either live shrimp or worms have worked wonders.

Glenlyon Dam
A few good reports filtering through this past week, early morning these fish are cruising the grassy banks looking for bait fish, if you can time it right, casting these areas with large surface lures and swimbaits has been an ideal way to target these feeding fish.

Copeton Dam
A little slower this past week due to bright nights with the full moon around, fishing later into the evening with large mumblers will be your best bet. Working the deeper banks and ledges has seen some great fish landed.

Gold Coast Broadwater and Offshore
Massive numbers of Giant Trevally and Tailor have been busting up right through out the Broadwater just have to be in the right place at the right time, targeting these lures with small metal slugs is a fun way of catching these fish. The offshore side of things there has been some great snapper getting around, most of the close inshore reefs are holding great numbers. drifting over these reefs with plastics or cut baits has been very productive.
