Cressbrook dam
This week at Cressbrook has seen a few fish show up around Eagles nest and up towards the end of the bull creek arm, early mornings have been the best times too find fish in these areas, casting blades, tailspinners and spoons have been the most productive way to get them to bite.

Cooby dam
Very good reports of Cooby this past week, the yellow belly are definitely on the move this time of year before it gets too cold, the main rock wall has been the pick of the spots in the deeper water, Anglers have been the most consistent with live shrimp and saltwater yabbies, also jigging or casting ZX blades and Jackall Mask Vibes have encountered plenty of fish.

Copeton dam
Copeton is still performing quite well, the Gwyder arm of the dam has most of the attention this past week, fishing slowly tapered banks with either surface or large swimbaits like the Jackall Gantarel has been the standout lure for most, there also has been some great fish coming in throughout the day, fishing deeper timber with Bassman Mumblers has done most of the damage.

Somerset dam
This last weekend at Somerset had some very tough fishing, but it can only get better, Most of the fish that have been getting caught have responded well plastics, spoons and blades, Queen street flats, Bay 13 and Pelican Point is where most of the fish have been holding.

Moogerah dam
Its finally that time of the year where Moogerah is definitely the go to place, the colder weather really fires up these fish, Most of the fish will move up onto the flats and feed. Targeting these fish with soft plastics and blades will be your best bet, also live shrimp has been working very well for the bait anglers.

Gold Coast
The northers reaches of the Gold Coast has had some good catches this week with mac and long tail tuna busting up bait in front of the Jumpin Pin bar. Casting larger plastics or metal slugs been the pick of the lures. Also floating live baits are always worth a shot for the larger pelagics.

Tip of the week
Pre rigging and organizing your tackle is paramount, Changing split rings and trebles is a must when targeting big murray cod.

Lure of the week
The new Jackall CharaBlade chatterbait is already getting a lot of attention. Its heavy weight combined with its small profile lets you fish much deeper and its flashing blade creates maximum appeal. This lure is dynamite when fished around structure or along weed edges using a straight retrieve, and you can really feel the strong vibrations it puts out.
