Reports of Trevally and Estuary Cod in the Raby Bay canals, try the lower reaches of the Brisbane river for Threadfin Salmon and Squire. Have a sound around and look for the schools - early morning has been best.

The rock walls and rock bars have been popular with the Bream anglers on a falling tide, the channel markers leading into the river have been holding Mackerel and the ledges of the channel are well worth a look for a Mulloway on large soft plastics.

Fish the mouth of Tingalpa creek for Whiting, Flathead and Bream on a falling tide.

Harry Atkinson artificial reef has fished well early morning for Squire and Jew, try West Peel artificial for Squire and Jew on Jigs and Curly tail soft plastics.

The hole in the wall has fished well for Sweetlip and large Bream as has Goat island, Parrot can be found in the deeper holes in the same location.

Inside South Passage bar and down the Rainbow channel has seen Mackerel and Bonito caught on metal slugs and deep diver lures.

Plenty of Whiting at the sand hills and in fisherman's gutter, take a crab pot for some Blue Swimmer crabs in about 13 meters of water.

Large Dolphinfish on trolled lumo skirted lures on the 50 fathom line not a bad by-catch when fishing for Marlin, some nice Blue Marlin are being caught around the 24 fathom line off the Gold Coast seaway.

Black Marlin are starting to show east of the Jumpin Pin bar around the Cotton Reefs and north to Point Lookout.

Some nice Spanish Mackerel around the Group and on the Sevens as well, if you feel energetic and want to throw a Stick bait or Popper for a GT or Spanish Mackerel on the Southern end of the Sevens a few have been caught using this method.

Cape Moreton has fished well using Micro Jigs and soft plastics for Snapper, 7" Z Man Jerk Shadz in Nucked Pilchard glow have worked well in this area, good numbers of Wahoo are being caught on trolled skirted lures, the Curtin artificial reef has produced some nice King Fish on live baits and reports of Snapper on the Nelson wreck as well.
