It has been very quiet around here and there are very few fishing. However, those who are trying there luck are getting a feed. There are still a few mulloway around and Buckley’s Hole and the Bridge are the spots for the odd nice mulloway. There are a few reasonable bream around and are best from Canals, the Jetty, from Cooks Rocks and Tiger Rocks. There are a few flathead about and are best from White Patch, from Sylvain Beach, and from the canals. There are some small whiting around the Red Beach area and with the small whiting are some decent flathead. So, it’s worth a try for a flathead in this area. There are lots of small snapper coming from the Ripples but are mostly all undersize. Just be careful when you release them as you can damage them if you are not careful. There are few whiting and also some fair tailor coming from the Main Beach and around Skirmish Point.
