Water level: 31/07/13 46.1%
Current discharge: 619 ML per day.
Current inflow: 2709 ML per day.
Water visibility: up to 1.5 metres
Forecast Weather: More showers across the weekend with a top temp of 16° and a minimum of 3° degrees on Sunday.
New Moon = Aug 7 Full Moon = Aug 21 Water Temperature: 12°-14°
I only have a brief report after the big cod caught last week by Warren Boyd. I am afraid the weather has played havoc with the fishing this week. I have no fishing reports, other than ‘very quiet’.
The weekend was very cold, windy & rough on the water with only a couple of boats venturing out from this end of the dam. ‘A couple of hits’ was the best report for the weekend. The weather is not looking much better for the next week, either. Hopefully the wind stays away.
I would guess the water has risen about a metre in the last week or so. This should see the fish feeding around the edges of the dam over the newly flooded ground.
Park news: The park is currently advertising for a park worker and cleaner, 2 positions, a couple is required. Anyone interested please contact the park on 02 62278114, applications close August 23.
