Water level current: 64.8 %
Water level: 30/10/13 65.1 %
Current discharge: 1017ML per day.
Current inflow: 1296ML per day.
Water visibility: up to 2.5m in main basin

Forecast Weather: Hot for Thursday and Friday. There is a chance of a storm on Friday and showers for Saturday. Rain for Sunday. Temps between 8 & 23 degrees for the weekend.
New Moon = Nov 3rd
Full Moon = Nov 18th
Water Temperature: 19 - 21 deg

Murray Cod: (Closed Season) 3 months from 1st September.

Yellow Belly: The lure fishermen have begun to catch their share of fish over the weekend with the trolling brigade reporting some good numbers. Up to 10 fish per day in the boat is common. Ac Invaders, Stucky’s & StumpJumpers are among some of the lures being used.
The whole of the Bidgee River arm is fishing well. The area from scrubby up the Bidgee beyond the islands is still producing really good numbers of fish. Bait fisherman are still doing very well with yabbies, worms & shrimp all doing the job.
The water clarity is not so good in the Yass River arm. 90 yellows in total were weighed in during the comp on the weekend. Many of these were released.

Redfin: Starting to pick up with plenty starting to be caught on lures.

Trout: Finally a trout, reported as a brook trout, was landed on a Tassie Devil around Cathedral Rock.

Silver Perch: No reports this week.

Carp: Were the main target for many of the fisherman at the Burrinjuck Convention over the weekend. A total of 252 fish were removed with a total weight of 525kg. Flyfishing accounted for a lot of the fish also bait fishing with corn and worms.

Park News: A Total Fire Ban is now in place at the park until 1st of April. Gas BBQs are permitted. No heat beads or wood fires.
The 1st round of the Australian Yellow Belly Championships will be held at BWSP on the 22nd & 23rd of February 2014. There are 12 cabins still available for that weekend 02 62278114 for bookings. The competition is open to any team of 2.
