Water level current: 77.9 %
Current inflow: 1795 ML per day.
Water level: 22/10/14 79.9 %
Water visibility: up to 2 metres
Rain last 7 days = 1.5 mm
Forecast Weather: Temps to reach32 deg on Friday before clearing showers and afternoon winds on Saturday with a top of 25 deg. Sunny for Sunday.
New Moon = Oct 24th, Full Moon = November 7th
Water Temperature: 18 - 22 deg
Murray Cod: Closed Season.

Yellow Belly: A mixed bag of reports this week. Yass River has been producing some smaller fish, better eating size. Trolling crank baits along the steep rock walls worked for Brenton with 12 yellows for the weekend. The morning and evening bite was better. Bait fishing reports were also good from this area. Reports from the top end of the dam, Hume Park, have the fishing a bit quiet. There were plenty of fish in the bins at the State Park over the weekend. A lot of the fishermen travel up to Scrubby and up the Goodradigbee River. Bait fishing with worms shrimp & yabbies on the bottom in around 15 foot of water will bring results if you find the right tree. The catch rates are also picking up for the lure and plastics fishermen. The water has been dropping and the winds have been blowing this week so hopefully this hasn’t put a dampener on the weekends fishing. Burrinjuck Convention kicks off on Friday evening.

Redfin: The odd fish being caught but still quiet.

Silver Perch: No reports

Carp: Plenty around. The carp will be targeted again in this weekend’s comp by bait and fly.

Park News: The 40th Annual Burrinjuck convention is not far off. Conducted by the Canberra Fishermen’s Club. The event will be on held on the 1st & 2nd of November. Fire bans are now in effect for the summer at the State Park so you can leave your fire wood at home this weekend.
