Water level current: 72.5 %
Current inflow: 393 ML per day.
Water level: 05/11/14 77.4 %
Water visibility: up to 2 metres
Rain this month 27.8 mm
Forecast Weather: Friday 9-27 deg, Saturday sunny 10-29 deg, Sunday Sunny 14-29 deg , light winds. Possible thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon.
Full Moon = December 6thth New Moon = December 22nd Water Temperature: 23 deg

Murray Cod: Season opens on December 1. Disappointing to see the size reduction to 55 cm but great news with the upper limit reduction to 75cm. There has certainly been a lot of cod caught over the last 3 months with a lot of bigger fish amongst them which is why there is a closed season during the spawning months. More details next week.

Yellow Belly: I was away for two weeks and the yellows fired up. Bait fisherman have continued to do well on small yabbies, shrimp and worms. The yellows have moved into deeper water as the levels have dropped but are holding around trees in mid water. Target trees in around 10 metres of water drop baits to the bottom and wind up till you find the fish. Many baits are being hit on the drop. Soft plastics such as Gulp minnow grubs have also been working well, around the trees, drop the plastic to the bottom and slow roll back to the surface. Casting Crank baits and spinner baits around the edges to about 6 metres of water has also been producing good numbers. Trolling hard bodies, spinner baits and crank baits in 5 to 8 metres of water and around the trees is also well worth the effort. Reports have been coming in from most areas of the dam.
Redfin: Big schools of fish have been sighted all over mostly feeding on the surface. They are still feeding on the many large bait schools which can also been seen close to the surface. No reports of anyone hooking on to any big numbers yet.
Silver Perch: No reports
Carp: Good numbers being caught as per usual. Still the odd report of carp on lures.
Park News: There are 3 private caravans for sale at the park call the office for details on 02 62278114. Our new Website is up and running at www.inlandwaters.com.au. A new booking system for the park is coming online this month and we are also moving towards being able to view availability and booking on line.
