Fishing & Lake Report 26/08/2015
Current discharge: 450 ML per day.
Water level 26/08/15: 64.3 %
Current inflow: 13580 ML per day.
Water level 12/08/15: 60 %
Water visibility: up to 1.5 metres
Rain past 7 days: 38.5 mm
Forecast Weather: weekend is mostly fine but cool. Temps between 1 & 12 degrees C. Light winds
Full Moon = Aug 30th New Moon = September 13th Water Temperature: 10 deg

The park played host to the Greg Whitehead Memorial fishing challenge this weekend. The event was catch and release with prizes for biggest fish not biggest bag. So it was hard to gauge how many fish were caught. Each entrant was able to enter a fish for the mystery length. The major prize was drawn from a hat with all entrants having a chance to win. Lure & bait
• Nearly $14000 raised for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation;
• Over 350 entrants;
• Fantastic weather for the weekend;
• Well over 100 fish registered over the weekend, many more not recorded;
• over $15000 in prizes & giveaways

* Mystery Length (Greg Whitehead Memorial Trophy) won by Guy Abnett will be proudly displayed at the Harden Country Club until next years Challenge

• Native Watercraft Slayer 13 Propel Kayak $3300 lucky angler draw won by Carol McGeachie (Gundagai)
