Current discharge: 3000 ML per day.
Water level 17/02/16: 51.4%
Current inflow: 460 ML per day.
Water level 10/02/16: 52.8%
Water visibility: up to 2 metres
Rain past 7 days: 0.0 mm
Forecast Weather: Mostly sunny with a top temp of 33 for the weekend. Light winds reaching 15 km on Sunday
Full Moon = February 23rd New Moon = March 9th Water Temperature: 23-25 deg

Murray Cod: Plenty of Reports of smaller Murray cod caught mostly on the troll. Angus from Cootamundra landed the biggest Cod this week on our catch sheet at 76cm. Boorowa fishing club recorded 8 Cod caught the biggest being 58cm. Most of these were in the Goodradigbee River Arm. We have not had too many fisherman out chasing the big one during the night due to the moon phase. With the full moon approaching on next Tuesday the 23rd I am expecting a few more in this weekend. Weather once again is looking perfect.

Yellow Belly: A mixed bag this week depending on what day you went fishing. I had a few guys in last weekend that were trolling up fish with shallow running Jackalls down about 2 to 3 metres and then the next guy was deep in 10 metres of water. The general consensus, yellow fishing both on the troll and cast has picked up from the past few weeks. Bait fishing with shrimp or dropping plastic grubs amongst the trees also well worth a try but you will need to keep moving trees to catch your bag. Catches have been all over the dam so try your favourite spots if you are heading for a fish this week. Shrimp catch rates have also been down so try and grab some yabbies on the way up or Steve has some big worms at the local Burrinjuck Store.

Redfin: I managed a dozen in one spot this week, they were all under 20 cm and it was a battle with the wind the whole time. The large schools seem to have dispersed & where are all the big ones? We keep asking.

Park News: The 2nd round of the Australian Yellow Belly Championships will be held at Burrinjuck on the 23rd & 24th April. Registration at

Bush fire prevention works are continuing during the week. This is being done with a large excavator with a mulcher on the front. Please keep well clear if you do visit us mid- week.
