Some nice tailor around Black Rock with smaller ones up north. Yellowfin, snapper and samson outside but was rough this morning. Beaches for tailor and bream. Current is very brisk and from the north.
Some nice bream in the first 2km of the river with most around 20-25cm but work hard and you’ll score some good fish around a kilo as well. School flathead up around Tumbulgum in the main channel in deep water biting on pilchards. Jacks around the bridges at the top of the evening tide on livies. Masses of crab traps in the river, wish there were as many crabs!
Swell should be down enough for a good go offshore and from the beaches this weekend.
