There are heaps of flathead throughout the Tweed River, and good places to try include Cobaki Lakes, in behind the golf club at Tweed, the Piggery and as far down as Tumbulgum.

Anglers are still getting good jacks around Tumbulgum Bridge and some nice whiting in the shallows around the anchorage and also in behind the golf club.

Some trevally and rat kings are being taken around the mouth of the river.

Outside, anglers getting a few mackerel and kingfish around Nine Mile. There are some nice snapper around Fidos and the Mud Hole.

Some good tailor are being taken along Bilinga Beach and Kinsgcliff in behind the bowls club and along the rock wall. A few jewfish have been coming from the south wall at Kingscliff as well.
