There are some tailor around the mouth of the river with trevally mixed in. There are also a few jewfish being taken off the rock walls and a few around Barneys Point bridge and Tumbulgum bridge as well.

Some nice flathead and whiting have been taken in behind the golf club at Tweed.

On the beaches we’re getting tailor along Fingal Headland, at Kingscliff from the beach in behind the bowls club and on the south side of the Kingscliff wall. There are a few jewfish there too.

Outside anglers are still getting some Spanish mackerel around Nine Mile, and some good snapper and pearl perch around the 30s and Fidos.
