Starting in the river, flatties and muddies have been a mainstay, with the muddies really firing up with the rain we've been having.
Jacks have been thick around Barneys Point bridge, particularly around the rock wall along side the bridge.
Whiting are in abundance around Tumbulgum and Murwillumbah, and the usual sandworms and nippers have accounted for the best specimens.

With virtually no action coming in from the rocks and the beaches, offshore angling has been more of a focus lately.

Offshore, spotties and Spaniards are in good numbers off Palm Beach Reef and out the front around 9-mile and Fidos with the odd specimen being taken around the islands as well.
