Starting outside, pearlies are in top form at the 50s, while in closer at the Mudhole and Fidos, the knobby snapper are starting to show up in good numbers.
Chopper tailor are being taken off Snapper Rocks by those spinning, and each week they seem to be getting a bit more size to them.

School jew are continuing to be taken along the south wall of the Tweed River entrance.
In the river itself, blackfish are thick, particularly around Boyds Bay bridge and DryDock. Anglers using traditional float methods are having the best success.
Flathead numbers are on the increase, and Ukerabah and the Piggery seem to be the best spots in recent weeks.
The odd jack is still being caught at Barneys Point bridge, but the numbers are continually on the way out as winter approaches.

On the beaches, Womon Bay and Hastings Point are giving up a few tailor, but so far the beach action is still fairly quiet.
