Jewies have been a hot topic with all the fresh still coming down the system. The south wall seems to be the hotspot at the monet, and in behind the hospital, there's been packs of marauding trevally ready to attack most offerings.
Around the anchorage, bream and flathead of good sizes have been showing up, with a variety of baits, live and dead, as well as various lures working well.

Along the beaches, tailor have been starting to thicken in numbers along Kingscliff Beach and behind the bowls club, and reasonable numbers have shown up off Fingal Headland for those braving the conditions on the rocks.

Crabbers will love the amount of muddies showing up in the lower reaches of the Tweed. Remember to throw some pots out as you fish!

Offshore, there's been a few jewies around Fidos and a few snapper coming out of the Mudhole. Most of the action has been close in, and very few boats have managed to get out very far.
