With the recent downpours our inshore waters are slightly muddied but there are still some good captures from those anglers braving the conditions to get out for a fish. Archie Levy headed out with his dad Jake for a quick fish in the tinny & landed his first kingfish, Archie managed a ripper fish on his 3 foot rod with 8lb line using a squid strip for bait, often when targeting different species the kingfish come along, this is a great catch by a young fella, well done Archie, the guys caught 4 kings in total. The offshore scene has been quiet this week due to the recent large swell and looks to be with us over the weekend so fish safe.

Alex Bellissimo has had some success on the beaches with his clients landing some good bream & whiting on beach worms during the week, even in the rougher conditions fish will come into the shallows to feed. Casting metal lures over the back of the breakers is also a good technique for combatting beach conditions when the sea is up a bit, tailor & salmon both love the white water with some good fish being spun up at Curl Curl, Dee Why & Manly this week. Roseville has provided good cover for bream & flathead fishermen with some decent fish being caught on heavily scented soft plastic lures & vibes.
