Lakes Entrance
Trevally are about the Myer Street Jetty with pilchard as preferred bait. The Sand Blasting Jetty is producing salmon taking prawn, also try the surf beach. Offshore at Six Mile Reef has good size pinkies and flathead.

Lake Tyers
Mill Point for bream and flathead with vibes as bait. Pinkies are about taking full pilchards. Tailor are around the channel markers, best results with lures and pilchard. The surf for salmon.

Mitchell River
The highway bridge and the Lind Bridge for perch, with best results using lures. Bream are active from the highway bridge all the way to the river mouth. Best baits are spider crab, local prawn and lures.

Tambo River
The best spot for bream at the moment is the highway bridge and down to Rough Road using prawn and worm.

The Little Cliffs and down to the river mouth for bream on prawn.

Shaving Point is still producing good size whiting using pipis and worm.

Progress Jetty for whiting taking worm and pipis. Bream are around the structures with peeled prawn and lures as baits. Mullet are also cruising about taking worm.

Holland’s Landing
The Strait, Seacombe landing, The Wood Pile and around Bull Bay for bream and mullet, also give Blonde Bay a try with prawn and Mr Twister rubber tail jigs.

The rock groynes for luderick on worm. Bream are in both rivers taking peeled prawn. In the Estuary for tailor chasing lures. The surf for salmon and tailor. Offshore for gummies. flathead and swordfish.

Bemm River
Luderick are up river on worm. Bream are cruising the lake with worm as best bait. Trolling with lures for tailor and the entrance is open.

Tamboon Inlet
Pelican Point for flathead and bream. Also try Old Man Point. Furnell Landing for luderick, perch and tailor on lures and soft plastics.

The surf for salmon. Flathead are cruising the Bottom Lake chasing lures. Luderick at the Main Wharf and Harrison’s Channel on weed. Bream are about taking prawn. The Narrows are producing flathead on pilchard.

Omeo High Country
Fishing has been a bit quiet with no rain to freshen up the rivers.
