Lakes Entrance
On incoming tide, Bullock Island and Kalimna Jetty are producing King George Whiting and Bay Trout. Surf beaches for Salmon taking metal lures. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for Pinkies.

Lake Tyers
Best spots now for Bream are at Cameron’s Arm and Cherry Tree and the highway bridge. For Flathead try Happy Valley Track and at Cameron’s Arm the “odd” Flathead can be caught.

Mitchell River
Perch are at the highway bridge taking lures. Bream are taking local prawn and cut crab. The Bluff, Two Bells and at the river mouth are good spots for Bream.

Tambo River
Best spots for Bream are from Sandys Buff and all the way down to the river mouth and the snags. Best results with shrimp, yabbies and drifting prawn.

Nicholson
The best spots are from Pear Tree to the river mouth for Bream on local prawn and yabbies.

Metung
At both Chinaman’s and Box’s Creeks for Bream, Perch and Mullet. Best results using worm, peeled prawn and lures. Try Nungurner Jetty for King George Whiting taking worm and pipi.

Paynesville
The Strait is good for Mullet on worm and the “odd” Bream. Bait of choice being shrimp and spider crab. Salmon are at the surf beach taking pilchard and poppers.

Holland’s Landing
The woodpile, Hollands Landing and into Lakes Victoria are the spots for Bream with best results using worm and pipi. There is plenty of bait fish about.

Marlo
Offshore for Gummies and Pinkies. Flathead can be found in Frenchs Narrows. Luderick are around the groyns. On incoming tide for Salmon and Tailor. There are the odd Bream about.

Bemm River
Surf beach for Salmon taking pilchard and poppers. Best spot for Bream is at the river mouth taking plastics and prawn. Give the channel a try for Bream.

Tamboon Inlet
The river mouth and to Lake Furnell for Bream around 36–40cm mark taking all baits presented to them as well as cut crab. Surf for Salmon biting on pilchard and poppers.

Mallacoota
Surf beach for Salmon on pilchard and poppers. Up at Gypsy Point for the odd Flathead and Bream taking prawn and yabbies.

Omeo High Country
Rivers will be open from Saturday. The Mitta Mitta would be one of the better spots.
