Lakes Entrance
Town jetties are producing a mixed bag of fish, best baits being prawn and pilchards. Whiting are to be found in the Kalimna to Nungurner Jetty area taking worm and pippies. Surf beaches for salmon on pilchard and lures. Off shore for pinkies on six mile reef, gummies and flatties are in closer to the beach on pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Fishing all shallow waters for bream and flatties, best results using prawn, pilchards and lures. Tailor are in the No 2 boat ramp area at night on same baits.

Mitchell River
Bream are to be found at Eagle Point to grassy banks taking prawn and worm, bass are chasing surface lures from Lindenow to Calulu.

Tambo River
Best spot for bream being at the rough road and towards Johnsonville boat ramp, prawn as preferred bait.
Nicholson The highway bridge and railway bridge around the pylons with live prawn suspended under a float for bream and also try shallow water of the strait six.

Metung
For bream try boxes creek at night using Spider crab and live prawn, whiting are around Nungurner Jetty. Try the shallow water areas around Shaving Point at night for bream.

Paynesville
At the back of Raymond Island the Resides Jetty for bream on local prawn, mullet are around in shallow banks on worm. Trolling the back lake for tailor on lures.

Holland’s Landing
The Wood Pile and Tom’s Creek at night using spider crab for bream, Griffin Point and Blonde Bay are also worth a shot.

Marlo
Bream are in the upper reaches of the rivers, try shallow banks around Marlo Jetty and Narrows for flatties, surf for salmon.

Bemm River
In the lake for bream on hard body lures and plastics. Flatties are taking soft plastics. Surf for salmon blue bait poppers and pilchards.

Tamboon Inlet
The boat ramp at fisherman’s landing for bream. Mud point for flatties on prawn and plastics. Pelican point for bream and old man point.

Mallacoota
Bottom lake for flatties on plastics and prawn. Bream in the top lake taking bass yabbies and prawn, Also in the narrows. Town jetties for trevally, tailor and flatties on white bait and blue bait. The odd flounder are also about

Omeo High Country
Rivers are in need of rain, try all of the rivers, best baits being hoppers, fly patience spinners and plastics, with the odd fish about.
