Lakes Entrance
The footbridge and town jetties for trevally and mullet on blue bait and pilchard. The surf beach for salmon on pilchard and poppers. The Hopetoun Channel and Rigby Island are worth a try. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for pinkies, flathead and gummies.
Out further for Swordfish on pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Flathead are around the island and through to the upper reaches of the Nowa Nowa Arm in shallow water, Best baits are plastics and prawn. Also try No.2 Boat Ramp. Bream are still around the power lines taking prawn.

Mitchell River
Garfish are around the Butter Factory and the Backwater taking worm. From Shadoof Lodge to Eagle Point and The Cut for Bream on worm and shrimp.

Tambo River
Sardine Flats, Rough Road and towards the First Gate for flathead. Best baits are prawn and worm.
Nicholson Bream are about the railway and highway bridges and also down to the river mouth. Best results on frozen prawn and worm.

Good size bream are being caught on all town jetties using fresh prawn. Shaving Point and up to the Lake King Jetty also worth a try at evening and early morning.

All town jetties have good size bream using bread and worm. The surf beach for salmon and gummies on pilchard, squid and poppers. Prawns are also about.

Holland’s Landing
Seacombe Landing, The Woodpile and Hollands Landing are producing good bream on prawn and shrimp. Bull Bay and Blonde Bay are also worth a try.

The surf for salmon on pilchard and poppers. Bream are in the rivers and around the islands. Best bait is frozen prawn. French’s Narrows for flathead on prawn and plastics. Offshore is fishing well for pinkies, gummies and flathead on squid and pilchards.

Bemm River
The entrance is still closed. In the lake for bream taking vibes and local prawn. Flathead are taking soft plastics. Salmon and tailor on the surf beach using metal lures.

Tamboon Inlet
Aeroplane Rocks and Peter Rock for bream and mullet using worm and prawn. Pelican Point and the Camp Site at Peach Tree Creek for bream and the shallow water for flathead on soft plastics and prawn.

The surf for salmon on pilchard and poppers. The Bottom Lake for flathead on blue bait and lures. The Top Lake for bream on yabbies. Fisheries Jetty for Tailor, flathead and garfish on prawn, lures and worm.

Omeo High Country
The snow that has fallen will help to freshen up the rivers, so there should be a few more fish on the move. Worm, lures and soft plastics for the best results.
