Lakes Entrance
The footbridge is producing squid, best results using jigs. King george whiting and trevally are also about. Bait of choice pipis and pilchard. The surf for salmon on pilchard and poppers. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for pinkies, snapper, nannygai, blue eyed trevally and morwong on pilchards and squid.

Lake Tyers
From Cameron’s Arm and up to Nowa Nowa for bream taking prawn, The Channel Markers and Mill Point are the best spots for pinkies taking prawn and most baits presented.

Mitchell River
Bream are about from Shadoof Lodge to Eagle Point on shrimp, spider crab and worm. Tailor, trevally and mullet are up at the highway bridge and are taking soft plastic grubs and worm as preferred bait.

Tambo River
The highway bridge and along the Lucerne Paddock for bream. Best results are on worm.

From the reeds and up to the car bodies and the cliffs for bream and mullet. Best results on prawn, shrimp and worm.

Chinaman’s Creek and Box’s Creek for bream and mullet on crab and prawn. Whiting are around the Nungurner Jetty, Bowran Point and the islands on worm and pipis.

Mullet are in the strait as are small bream. Best bait being worm and pippies. The town jetties are also worth a look.

Holland’s Landing
Lake Wellington, Plover Point and through Mc Lennan Strait for bream using worm. Try the rock groynes along the shore line as well.

Luderick are around the rock groynes. Estuary perch are swimming in open water taking lures and plastics. Bream are also cruising the river system. The incoming tide at the entrance for salmon and tailor on lures, pilchard and poppers.

Bemm River
The entrance is to be opened on Friday. Bream are in the lake taking worm and local prawn. The surf for salmon taking blue bait and poppers.

Tamboon Inlet
Bream are in the river and up as far as Lake Furnell. Best results using worm and prawn. Plenty of rain water entering the system.

The Top Lake for bream around the 3kg mark, best results using soft plastics. Some flathead is around as well. Fisheries and Main Wharf for trevally and tailor taking blue bait. The surf for salmon on pilchards and poppers.
