Lakes Entrance
There are Trevally about the footbridge, taking pilchard as preferred bait. Under the highway bridge, around Bullock Island and the fuel pump jetty area for Bream and Trevally. The rock wall is also worth a look. Surf beaches for Salmon. Offshore at Six Mile Reef is fishing well.

Lake Tyers
Surf beach is producing Salmon taking pilchard and popper. Mill Point for Bream and Tailor with peeled prawn as preferred bait. Cameron’s Arm and up to the top of Nowa Nowa Arm for Bream biting on prawn and hard body lures.

Mitchell River
Perch, Bream and Mullet are at the backwaters and down to Shadoof Lodge. Best bait being worm, spider crab and prawn.

Tambo River
Bream are to be found at Whelan’s as well as at the first gate taking sandworm and peeled prawn.

From the little cliffs and heading toward the river mouth for Bream. Try peeled prawn and worm.

Plenty of seals and Dolphins are around. Best spots for Flathead around mid- afternoon is Boole Boole Peninsula using prawn as preferred bait.

Around 8.00am in The Strait to see Seals and Dolphins chasing Tailor and Mullet.
Both Tailor and Mullet are taking worm as preferred bait. Also try the mouth of the Mitchell River for a mixed bag.

Holland’s Landing
From Seacombe Landing to Bull Point and up to Jones Bay and Tom’s Creek are best for Bream, Flathead ad Mullet biting on worm, prawn and whitebait.

The Brodribb River, Snowy River and Lake Corringle for Bream taking worm. Estuary Perch are also about. Surf for Salmon biting on pilchard and sand popper. Offshore for a mixed bag.

Bemm River
In the river for Luderick and Bream taking worm. The lake for Bream on soft plastics. Surf for Salmon on pilchard and popper.

Tamboon Inlet
Peter’s Rock for Trevally and Snapper on prawn. Fisherman’s Landing for Bream on prawn and worm. Egan’s Bank for Flathead taking vibes.

Top Lake and the two rivers for Flathead and Bream. Best bait being yabbies and prawn. Also give the Betka River a try as well.
